You can search your contracts to narrow down what you are looking for. Valid criteria for the Search field includes the contract ID, description, and location. You can also search for your personal tags if you've added any to the contract.
Use the Advanced search to find contracts using additional criteria.
- On the Contracts page, enter your search criteria in the Search for contracts field and click Search. The Doc Express service displays the contracts that meet the search criteria.
- Use the icons on the Contracts title bar to quickly search for favorite (the star) or locked (the lock) contracts. To clear the search, click the all contracts (the paper) icon.
Advanced search
The Advanced Contract search uses additional criteria, such as the status, comments, and a date range, to find documents. The Doc Express system remembers the sort order and displays the contracts this way until the order changes. Contracts that are marked as favorites will remain on top of the list.
- Select the three lines under the Search field to access the advanced search.
-
Enter or select your sort and search criteria. You do not have to enter information for every field.
-
Use the Order By Name field to select how to display the results – by name, description, location, or most recently updated.
To clear the Search fields, click Reset Search.
Manage tags
If you have a contractor role, you can add personal tags to a contract that you have access to and use those tags in a search. No one else will see your tags.
- With the contract open, select Manage Tags from the Actions menu. If you don't see this option, then you can't add a tag to the contract.
- Enter one tag per line in the Manage Tags window.
- Click Save.
To search for a contract with your tag, enter the tag in the Search field on the Contracts page.
Map view
